Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF) is another option which may save you money, is located approximately 20 minutes north of the city in Newport News, VA.

Driving distances in miles from major U.S. cities are: New York, NY: 372; Washington, DC: 195; Philadelphia, PA: 276; Baltimore, MD 232. Interstate 64 will bring you to Norfolk from points west.

Norfolk can also be reached by Passenger ferry from Portsmouth.
