Getting In, Getting Around Norfolk

Norfolk International Airport is located six miles northeast of the central business district and offers over 200 flights daily by a dozen major and regional carriers, including American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, Southwest, United and US Airways. Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF) is another option which may save you money, is located approximately 20 minutes north of the city in Newport News, VA.

Driving distances in miles from major U.S. cities are: New York, NY: 372; Washington, DC: 195; Philadelphia, PA: 276; Baltimore, MD 232. Interstate 64 will bring you to Norfolk from points west.

Norfolk can also be reached by Passenger ferry from Portsmouth.
